Hey guys! EA did that thing you wanted...*UPDATED*

You know that RPG series BioWare has been putting out this generation? The one in space. Mass Effect, yeah that's it!  Well, EA has heard your demands and they've decided to add multiplayer to Mass Effect 3!  Confirmed today by PC PowerPlay and OXM magazines, you'll get the chance to fly the Normandy with all your buds this winter.  Grab some 'Dew and Doritos, bro, cuz we're playing Team Deathmatch all night!

*UPDATE*  The following was posted by BioWare on the official Mass Effect Facebook page Monday afternoon:

"We can officially confirm that there will be a multiplayer feature in Mass Effect 3. However, please reserve your appraisal until we are able to give more information. Our Executive Producer Casey Hudson says it best: "Yes, co-op MP missions for ME3: they're real, and they're spectacular. Rest assured it's nothing of what you've feared. More soon...""

  1. I'm not going to come out and say that I think this is downright terrible, because it could be ok. But I'm really nervous about this...

  4. Sadly, after being massively let down down ME1 and ME2, there is very little this game can do to get my interest.
