I've Got a Bad Feeling About This: Kinect Star Wars and XBox 360 Delayed into 2012

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

A Look Back At The Classics: Deus Ex

With the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution just a couple days away, I thought it would be a good idea to go back and get some perspective by playing the original Deus Ex. Does it hold up to  today's standards? Or are opinions so tinted by rosy-colored lenses of nostalgia that the only way to find out is to have someone play it who's never played it before? It was bound to happen sooner rather than later: Since being released in February to "underwhelming" sales, Bulletstorm has seen its price slashed. Currently,  Amazon.com and Steam both list the game for $29.99. Perhaps now is a good time to check it out?

Valve Boss Gabe Newell "We Need to Show EA the Value of Having Their Games on Steam"

In an interview with Develop, Valve boss Gabe Newell has hinted at a list of issues that lead to EA de-listing their games from Steam. He said, "I don't think Valve can pick just one thing and think the issue will go away if we fixed that." He goes on to say that they need to show EA that there is great value in having their games on Steam. Hopefully this means that the two juggernauts can resolve their differences soon.

Watch the Official Dota 2 Tournament Live!

Valve has announced that they will be streaming the International Dota 2 Championships live. Valve has put up a one million dollar cash prize for the victorious team. Given the fact that Valve is letting people play an unreleased game in a very public fashion, it could indicate that not only is the game probably finished, but also that Valve must be VERY confident with the game that they've made. And why shouldn't they be?

New Battlefield 3 Video and Pre-Order Info

So, given that Battlefield 3 is just a couple months away,
EA is definitely cranking up the hype train. Check out the video below ( originally posted by Pat) for some incredible-looking multi player action.

Exciting New Stuff Coming

It's only been a day, and already some great stuff is on the way. Our first game for review is being played as I type, and the reviewer is really excited to get started. Also, as I've explained to a few people already, since the focus isn't completely going to be on games, a friend is going to write a weekly "What I Watched on Netflix" section. I definitely wouldn't have okay ed it if I didn't think it would be hilarious, so I'm pretty excited to see what he gives me. Since Battlefield is the game that's created the biggest blip on our radar right now, I'm trying to iron out some plans for a few different features. If you guys see any games you want covered or have any more ideas for content, let me know.

New Blog!!!

Hey everybody! The new KG blog is up, and I'm super excited! As the next few weeks roll on, I'll be experimenting with all sorts of new stuff, including page layouts (thanks John!), content, video capture/hosting, podcasting, and more! If everything goes according to plan, this has potential to be pretty awesome! If anybody's interested in contributing content, let me know. My main aim here as far as content goes is editorial and commentary, with relevant news as well. Fitting with KG standards, the overall focus will be on video games, but if anybody sees a bit of news or wants to write an article, I'm fine as long as it can be related to games or tech. Of course, everyone in KG has a hilarious sense of humor, and that's what I'd really like to shine through.  So that's it, if anybody has any constructive criticisms or ideas for content, let me know in the comments, or just email me.  SHARE MY EXCITEMENT!!!!
