The next game from the makers of Heavy Rain was announced at Sony's E3 conference tonight. Titled Beyond: Two Souls, the game stars the digital likeness of Ellen Page, along with presumably several other character actors. The game appears to be of a similar style to Heavy Rain; heavily cinematic presentation controlled by quicktime events.
The last game shown at the conference, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, stole the show. Following the bizarre and overlong debut of the Sony Wonderbook, the trailer for The Last of Us showed some brutal hand to hand combat and pulse pounding gameplay. Naughty Dog has shown they know how to do big games with the Uncharted series, and The Last of Us looks to be amazing as well.
